Welcome to Kindergarten and the new school year!  I hope you had a restful, fun and adventurous summer vacation and are ready to begin an exciting year of wonder and learning.

I am very pleased to begin my permanent position here at Bayview.  Up until now, I have been bouncing around teaching in Vancouver’s inner-city schools for the past seven years - the majority of my placements in full-day Kindergarten programs.  Prior to that, I taught early primary English classes for several years in Taichung, Taiwan and travelled extensively throughout Southeast Asia. 

With a biology background, you will see many of our lessons with a science focus.  I have yet to meet a five year old who wasn’t passionate about apples, pumpkins, bats, butterflies, dinosaurs, magnets, rain & rainbows, rocks & minerals, plants, insects & bugs, sea creatures...  Oh, to be five again!

I am always happy to connect with you between 8:30-8:55am and 3:05-3:30pm.  However, if you require more time, a meeting with other members of our school community or privacy, please contact me to schedule an appointment.
